Service Technician / Propane Driver
Location: Superior, MT
Pay: $24.00/hr
Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a Service Technician / Propane Driver to join a respected energy services provider serving the Missoula and Superior areas. This position is ideal for a safety-conscious professional who enjoys working independently, providing excellent customer service, and operating commercial vehicles.
The candidate will be responsible for the safe delivery of propane products, tank installations, routine service work, and maintaining strong customer relationships while representing the company in a professional manner.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate propane delivery trucks and other company vehicles.
  • Operate specialized equipment, including boom trucks, as needed.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and respond to customer needs professionally and efficiently.
  • Prepare invoices, delivery documents, and required paperwork accurately and completely.
  • Perform propane tank installations, tank moves, leak testing, and basic propane service work.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively at all times.
  • Keep company vehicles clean, organized, and in excellent working condition.
  • Coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs according to established schedules.
  • Follow all DOT, safety, and company operating procedures.
  • Communicate market observations, customer feedback, and competitor activity to management.

Qualifications

  • Current CDL with HazMat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements, or the ability to obtain required endorsements.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen, background check, reference check, and motor vehicle record review.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Ability to work extended hours during peak demand periods.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including percentages, volume calculations, and measurements.
