A busy student-housing community in Gainesville is hiring two dependable Groundskeepers. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering steady work and the potential to join the property’s team permanently.

The Groundskeeper will help maintain clean, attractive and safe exterior areas throughout the community. We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work, can remain productive without constant supervision and is comfortable working outdoors.

Responsibilities:

• Pick up litter and keep grounds free of debris

• Maintain sidewalks, breezeways, parking areas and common spaces

• Assist with landscaping and general exterior upkeep

• Clean around buildings, amenities and community areas

• Help prepare the property during apartment-turn periods

• Complete basic maintenance and cleaning tasks as assigned

• Report safety hazards or repair needs to management

• Interact professionally with residents, visitors and property staff

Qualifications:

• Groundskeeping, landscaping, janitorial, apartment-turn or property-maintenance experience preferred

• Comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather

• Able to stand, walk, bend, lift and perform physical work throughout the shift

• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation

• Professional appearance and respectful communication

• Able to work independently and follow instructions

• Willing to complete required pre-employment screening
