Pool Cleaner (18/hr to start, full-time, on-the-job training)

Job Summary

Do you love the water and working outdoors? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pool Cleaner to join our aquatic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of swimming pools and related equipment. The ideal candidate will love working outdoors, love the water, and enjoy providing great customer service. This position offers on-the-job training in pool cleaning as well as training in repair work and new pool/spa installations

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning of pools, including skimming debris, vacuuming, and brushing surfaces to maintain optimal water quality.
Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment such as pumps, filters, and circulation systems; perform necessary repairs or coordinate repairs with service technicians.
Balance pool chemistry by handling water treatment chemicals safely and accurately to ensure safe swimming conditions.
Maintain and repair pool plumbing systems and mechanical components using hand tools and power tools.
Monitor water levels, temperature, and chemical balance; adjust as needed to comply with health and safety standards.
Operate company vehicles responsibly for transporting equipment and supplies to various aquatic facilities.
Document maintenance activities, chemical treatments, and repairs accurately in logs or digital systems.
Adhere to safety protocols related to chemical handling, equipment operation, and outdoor work conditions.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries professionally during site visits.

Qualifications

Stable work history and experience working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
A love of the water. Company will provide annual scuba certification at no cost.
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment safely.
Knowledge of pool cleaning procedures, equipment repair, and routine maintenance tasks is a plus but not required.
Valid driver’s license with a responsible driving record on the MVR.
Prior experience in customer service or client-facing roles is advantageous.
Ability to pass a criminal background and drug screening
Capable of lifting 50 pounds regularly

Position will generally work between the hours of 7:00am and 5:00pm Monday - Friday. Position will work year-round.
