Express Employment Professionals is looking for a dependable Press Operator to join a local company in Athens, Tx. 

Key Responsibilities

• Read and follow production work orders and blueprints.
• Operate mills, presses, cutters, blasting equipment, dip line processes, and other production machinery.
• Assemble jigs, install rubber shims and sole plates according to specifications.
• Perform quality checks, including measurements, weight, and profile inspections.
• Read and use a tape measure accurately.
• Safely lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment to move products and load/unload trucks.
• Place bearings into presses using a forklift.
• Perform general warehouse duties, including wrapping, banding, cleaning, and organizing.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all plant safety procedures and 6S principles.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a urinalysis (UA) and wear steel-toe boots (STB).
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to safety.
