We're looking for a confident, relationship-driven Business Development Representative who thrives on meeting new people, building trust, and creating meaningful business partnerships.

What You'll Do

As a Business Development Representative, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to local businesses by helping them solve hiring and workforce challenges.

You'll:

 

·         Develop relationships with business owners, decision-makers, and HR professionals throughout Scarborough and surrounding areas.

·         Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and community engagement.

·         Consult clients to understand their workforce needs and present customized staffing solutions.

·         Maintain and grow an existing portfolio of client relationships

·         Represent Express at networking events, business associations, and community functions

·         Partner closely with our recruiting team to ensure exceptional client service and successful placements

·         Contribute to the growth and reputation of our office within the local business community

What We're Looking For

 

Ø  Experience in business-to-business sales, account management, customer service, recruiting, or business development

Ø  Experience prospecting (door-to-door, email, phone call, LinkedIn reach) and developing new client relationships

Ø  Strong communication and presentation skills

Ø  Professional presence and confidence when meeting with business leaders

Ø  Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Ø  Post-secondary education is an asset

Ø  Knowledge of staffing, recruiting, employment services, or workforce solutions is beneficial but not required.
