***ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE WILLING TO INITIALLY WORK AT OUR CLIENT'S LONG BEACH FACILITY, AND THEN TRANSFER TO THEIR IRVINE LOCATION.  THIS WILL TAKE PLACE IN EARLY AUGUST***

 

The Warehouse Associate – Kitting & Inventory is responsible for accurately picking, assembling, packaging, and stocking materials to support customer orders and production requirements. This role ensures inventory accuracy, maintains an organized warehouse, and follows all company safety and quality standards while meeting production schedules and customer expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment, including order pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners, to locate, retrieve, and transport materials safely.
• Pick products accurately according to work order requirements.
• Prepare materials for kit assembly by weighing, labeling, sorting, and staging components.
• Assemble customer kits by consolidating, packaging, and verifying all required line items according to work order specifications.
• Count, package, and prepare orders to meet customer requirements and scheduled due dates.
• Utilize RF scanners to pick, locate, replenish, and track inventory transactions.
• Stock inventory accurately while maintaining proper product rotation and organized storage locations.
• Perform inventory control activities, including cycle counts, stock verification, discrepancy investigations, and serialized inventory audits.
• Maintain accurate bin locations and adjust storage bins and packaging configurations as needed to support work order requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in accordance with company safety policies.
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance concerns promptly.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, efficiency, and inventory accuracy.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business operations.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, inventory, or fulfillment experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, and RF scanning equipment preferred.
• Ability to accurately follow work orders and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Work Environment

This position is performed in a warehouse environment and requires adherence to all company safety policies and procedures. Duties and responsibilities may be modified as business needs change at the discretion of management.
