Temporary Property Maintenance Assistant

A local apartment community in Bloomington is seeking a dependable Temporary Maintenance Assistant to help prepare apartments and maintain the property for new residents. Job Summary

• Assist with general grounds maintenance and property cleanup
• Move furniture and appliances as needed
• Trash out vacant apartment units
• Complete apartment make-ready punch lists
• Perform basic repairs and general maintenance in apartments and common areas
• Assist with interior and exterior property upkeep
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA guidelines
• Complete assigned maintenance tasks under the direction of the Property Manager, Regional Manager, or Maintenance Supervisor

Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to perform physical labor throughout the workday
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
• Previous maintenance, construction, landscaping, or general labor experience is a plus, but not required

Location: Bloomington, IN

Position Type: Temporary (2–3 weeks)

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
