We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembly/Display General Labourer to join our manufacturing team. This role involves supporting the assembly and display setup processes, utilizing various tools and machinery to ensure high-quality product output. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with warehouse or manufacturing environments, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. This position offers an opportunity to develop technical skills in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Monday-Friday 7AM-5:30PM

$18/hour - $19.00/hour + 4% vacation pay

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components and displays according to detailed schematics and blueprints
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment safely and efficiently
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly
  • Use calipers and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and quality standards
  • Utilize forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed for material handling
  • Weld, cut, or modify parts as required using welding equipment or machining tools
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality expectations
  • Assist in inventory management by tracking parts and finished products

Experience

  • Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or assembly environments preferred
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and mechanical drawings is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with forklift operation, welding, machining, and the use of hand tools and power tools is a plus
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, mechanical systems, and assembly techniques is beneficial
  • Experience with calipers or other precision measurement tools is advantageous
  • Warehouse experience including material handling equipment operation is preferred
  • Ability to work safely around industrial machinery and follow safety protocols at all times
  • Full G-class license with clean abstract required
