Express Employment Professionals is now hiring Housekeepers in the Morgantown, WV area for a local university. This full-time overnight housekeeping position offers a steady Sunday-through-Thursday schedule and competitive pay of $14.00 per hour.

Housekeepers will help maintain clean, sanitary, and welcoming campus housing, including dorm rooms, apartments, townhouses, bathrooms, and common areas.

Previous housekeeping, janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required. Dependable candidates with a strong work ethic and attention to detail are encouraged to apply.

University Housekeeper Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dorm rooms, apartments, townhouses, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors throughout campus housing.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces.
• Empty trash containers and properly dispose of waste.
• Replenish cleaning, restroom, and facility supplies as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized housekeeping areas.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning products as directed.
• Follow workplace safety and sanitation procedures.
• Report maintenance, repair, or facility concerns to the appropriate team.
• Work independently and with other housekeeping team members to complete daily cleaning assignments.

Housekeeper Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work an overnight / 3rd shift schedule.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a housekeeping team.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, custodial, commercial cleaning, or facilities experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift.
