Lumber company looking for an experienced Millwright! Starting wage  is $20/hr.  Schedule is M-F 6:45-3:30. Long term opportunity!

Responsibilities include:

• Repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment
• Using specialized tools (welding, brazing, etc.)
• Review and follow technical and complex machinery manuals
• Disassemble/Reassemble machine parts
• Collaborate with team to assess potential problems or needs
• Ultimately-making sure all machines operate properly and the facilities remain safe

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Millwright or in a similar role
• Hands on experience with similar equipment
• Strong communication skills
• Eye for detail
• Millwright Certification preferred, welding experience preferred

Here is some additional info on this job: Millwrights perform highly skilled mechanical tasks, including installations. So bring your knowledge of hydraulic systems, pneumatics and metal working, they are required skills. You will be tasked with the repair and maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment throughout the plant. This may include, but not limited to, such equipment as motors, pneumatic, hydraulic and conveyor systems, chains, electric motors, gear boxes, etc.
