Counter Sales Representative

Location: Mesa, AZ
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

We're seeking a dependable, customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, solving problems, processing orders, and building relationships with contractors, tradespeople, and walk-in customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in customers with product selection and purchases
• Answer inbound phone calls and assist customers with questions and orders
• Generate quotes and process sales transactions
• Build relationships with contractors, maintenance professionals, and business customers
• Maintain product knowledge and recommend solutions based on customer needs
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillment
• Assist with inventory, stocking, and merchandising as needed
• Accurately enter orders and customer information into company systems

Qualifications

• Previous counter sales, inside sales, customer service, or industrial supply experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable speaking with customers in person and over the phone
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
• Experience in construction, industrial, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, automotive, or related industries is a plus
