Backhoe Operator

Salary: $17.00/hr

Express is partnering with a local company and looking for an experienced Backhoe Operator. This is a long-term position and GREAT opportunity to grow, as the company is looking to train the selected candidate to become a foreman. 

 

Position: Backhoe Operator

Pay: $17.00/hr to start

 

Schedule: Mon-Thurs, 7:00AM-5:30PM (10hr shifts)

 

Duties:

• Operate backhoe and other construction equipment
• Excavation, trenching, grading, and material handling
• Assist with railroad construction and maintenance projects
• Perform equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Follow safety procedures and company policies
• General construction labor as needed
• Train for future Foreman responsibilities

 

Requirements:

• Backhoe operation experience, other heavy equipment a plus
• Construction industry experience
• Foreman experience a plus
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Heavy lifting up to 50lbs
• Willing to travel

 

Required PPE:

• Steel-toe boots
• 18" lace-up work boots
• Long-sleeve work shirts
