Our client in Cedar Rapids, IA is looking for multiple Production Associates!

Position Summary: Our client is seeking dependable, motivated Production Associates to help manufacture high-quality window products and components. This is a hands-on position where you may cut materials, assemble window frames and components, operate production equipment, inspect completed products, and prepare finished units for shipment. Production Associates may rotate between different workstations based on daily production needs. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working with their hands, and seeing a finished product come together. Training will be provided, but candidates must be willing to learn, follow detailed instructions, and maintain a steady pace throughout a 12-hour shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate production machines and equipment according to established procedures
• Measure and cut materials to the correct dimensions
• Read and use a tape measure accurately
• Assemble window frames, components, and finished products
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Load raw materials and components into production equipment
• Install, fasten, or secure parts according to product specifications
• Inspect materials and finished products for defects, damage, or incorrect measurements
• Complete quality checks throughout the production process
• Identify and report product or equipment concerns to a supervisor
• Package, label, wrap, and prepare finished products for shipment
• Pull materials and labels according to production orders
• Move products and materials safely throughout the facility
• Keep up with established production goals while maintaining quality
• Complete required production and quality documentation accurately
• Cross-train in different departments and assist wherever production support is needed
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
• Assist with general housekeeping and other production duties as assigned

• Long shifts with the possibility of required overtime and Saturday work

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, construction, or machine-operation experience preferred
• Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
• Basic English reading, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to complete production and quality paperwork accurately
• Willingness to learn multiple positions throughout the facility
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
• Ability to maintain a steady and consistent work pace
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and strong work ethic
• Commitment to following all workplace safety requirements
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening

Hours:

• 1^st Shift
• Monday – Friday
• Overtime and Saturday work may be required based on production needs

Pay:

• $16.50–17/hour
