About the Company

Express Employment is seeking a Temporary HR/Front Desk Coordinator for a well-established manufacturing company in Bettendorf, IA.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, staying organized, and supporting both office operations and the hiring process. You'll be the first point of contact for visitors while also assisting the Human Resources team with recruiting and onboarding activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and provide professional front desk and receptionist support
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls while maintaining excellent customer service
• Order and maintain office supplies and assist with general administrative tasks
• Screen resumes and assist with recruiting efforts for open positions
• Schedule candidate interviews, coordinate first-day onboarding, and support the hiring process
• Assist the Human Resources team with additional administrative and recruiting duties as needed

Required Qualifications

• Previous administrative, receptionist, customer service, or office support experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel) and general computer skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications 

• Previous Human Resources, recruiting, or staffing experience
• Experience scheduling interviews or coordinating onboarding activities
• Manufacturing office experience
• Associate degree or coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
