Position Summary: As a Machine Operator, you'll learn to operate specialized manufacturing equipment that machines precision steel components used in commercial truck drivetrains. You'll become part of a team focused on quality, safety, and producing high-quality parts in a clean, organized manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on position where you'll stay active throughout the day while developing valuable machining skills that can lead to advancement opportunities within the company.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate industrial manufacturing and machining equipment
• Load and unload steel parts into production machines
• Learn specialized machining processes through paid training
• Perform quality inspections using calipers, gauges, and measuring tools
• Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments as needed
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company quality standards
• Work as part of a team to produce precision components

Available Shifts:

• 1^st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7 AM – 3:30 PM
• 2^nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM

Pay:

• $17–20/hour

Commute:

• Located in Independence, IA (approximately 40–45 minutes from Cedar Rapids). Many employees make the commute because of the consistent schedule, stable work, and long-term career opportunities.
