Our client in Cedar Rapids, IA is looking for a Event Linen & Rental Care Associate!

Position Summary: This position plays an important role in ensuring every rental item is clean, polished, counted, and ready for the next event. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, stays organized, and takes pride in making sure every detail is handled carefully. Unique Events provides event design, décor, linens, furniture, and other customizable rentals for special events throughout Iowa

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash and care for event linens
• Inspect linens and treat stains as needed
• Steam, press, fold, sort, and organize linens
• Clean event glassware using commercial dishwashing equipment
• Hand-wash delicate items when necessary
• Dry, inspect, and polish glassware
• Package clean glassware and other products for upcoming events
• Count products before and after cleaning
• Sort and organize inventory
• Inspect items for stains, damage, water spots, or residue
• Handle fragile products carefully
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Ensure all items meet quality standards before being packaged

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to count and organize products accurately
• Comfortable completing repetitive, hands-on tasks
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, sort, and fold throughout the shift
• Ability to handle linens, cleaning products, and fragile glassware
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Hours:

• Monday – Friday
• 8am – 4pm

Pay:

• $15–16/hour
