Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician for a leading manufacturing facility in McGregor, TX. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial electrical systems and automated production equipment to ensure maximum equipment reliability and minimal downtime.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues involving PLCs, VFDs, motor control centers (MCCs), control panels, and automation systems.
  • Maintain and repair robotic welding equipment, CNC machinery, conveyors, overhead cranes, and production equipment.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
  • Install conduit, wiring, sensors, electrical panels, and control devices.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Assist with installation, startup, and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Work closely with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to improve equipment performance.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
  • Respond quickly to equipment failures to minimize production interruptions.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of industrial electrical experience.
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or technical training preferred.

  • PLCs
  • VFDs
  • Motor control systems
  • MCCs
  • Industrial automation
  • Robotics
  • Electrical troubleshooting
  • Experience in structural steel fabrication or heavy manufacturing is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb throughout the workday.
