Our client in Cedar Rapids, IA is looking for a Part Time Commercial Cleaner!

Position Summary: Join an established and growing commercial cleaning team that has been creating clean, safe, and healthy environments since 2003. Janitorial Associates help maintain professional spaces for businesses throughout the Cedar Rapids area. This position is a great fit for someone who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and is comfortable working independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas
• Empty trash containers and replace liners
• Clean windows, mirrors, floors, and other surfaces
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
• Report maintenance concerns or supply shortages to a supervisor
• Ensure all assigned areas meet quality and cleanliness standards

Qualifications:

• Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Dependable transportation and consistent attendance
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Hours:

• Part-time
• Schedule will vary depending on business needs
• Typically scheduled between 9:00 PM and 12:30 AM
• Will average approximately 15–25 hours per week

Pay:

• $16/hour
