Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Welder to join a growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder looking for long-term employment in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform MIG (GMAW) welding on structural steel components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet AWS and company quality standards.
• Assist with fitting, grinding, and material preparation.
• Safely work around production equipment and robotic welding systems.
• Maintain quality, productivity, and workplace safety throughout each shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of structural steel or heavy manufacturing welding experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• AWS certification or completion of a welding program preferred.
• Ability to pass a welding test.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
