About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Painter to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including residential renovations, insurance restoration, commercial tenant improvements, and new construction. We are looking for skilled professionals who take pride in delivering high-quality finishes while maintaining a safe, clean, and professional work environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by sanding, patching, filling, caulking, and priming.
• Apply paint, stain, and specialty coatings to a high standard.
• Complete drywall repairs and surface preparation as required.
• Protect surrounding surfaces and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Collaborate effectively with site supervisors and other trades.
• Follow all safety regulations, site requirements, and workplace procedures.

Qualifications Required

• Minimum 3 years of professional painting experience.
• Experience in one or more of the following:
• Residential renovations
• Insurance restoration
• Commercial tenant improvements
• New construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to project sites throughout Central Alberta.
• Physically capable of lifting, climbing ladders, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
• Own basic painting hand tools required for the trade.
• CSA-approved safety footwear and required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Assets

• Experience with spray applications and fine-finishing work.
