Express Employment Professionals is hiring an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician. This position supports residential properties by completing service requests, preparing vacant units, and handling repairs across multiple building systems.

Candidates must have their own tools, a valid driver’s license, and at least one to two years of professional property or building maintenance experience. HVAC knowledge, EPA certification, and plumbing experience are major plusses!

What You Will Do

• Complete maintenance requests in occupied apartments
• Prepare vacant units for new residents
• Diagnose and repair basic plumbing problems
• Troubleshoot HVAC and comfort-related concerns based on experience
• Complete minor electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and hardware repairs
• Repair or replace locks, fixtures, doors, and damaged components
• Inspect units and report larger repair concerns
• Maintain accurate records of completed work
• Communicate professionally with residents and property staff
• Keep tools, materials, and work areas organized

What We Are Looking For

• At least one to two years of professional property or building maintenance experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Personal set of maintenance hand and power tools
• General plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and repair ability
• HVAC troubleshooting experience is strongly preferred
• EPA certification is a major plus
• Ability to manage multiple work orders and changing priorities
• Professional communication when working inside occupied homes
