Direct commercial print bindery experience required

Express Employment Professionals is hiring an experienced Bindery Operator for a commercial printing operation. This is a skilled print-finishing position requiring previous experience operating bindery equipment used for paper and printed materials.

General warehouse, packaging, or unrelated machine operator experience does not replace the commercial printing experience required for this opening.

What You Will Do

• Set up and operate commercial bindery equipment
• Run equipment such as cutters, folders, stitchers, collators, booklet makers, or binding machines
• Read job tickets and follow print-finishing specifications
• Measure and verify folds, cuts, page order, alignment, and finished dimensions
• Make equipment adjustments throughout each production run
• Inspect finished materials for quality and consistency
• Troubleshoot jams, feeding issues, and minor equipment problems
• Record production counts, waste, and completed work
• Maintain an organized work area and protect printed materials from damage
• Complete routine equipment cleaning and operator maintenance

What We Are Looking For

• Previous commercial printing or paper bindery experience
• Hands-on experience setting up and running bindery machinery
• Ability to read job tickets and follow exact finishing specifications
• Strong measuring and quality inspection skills
• Ability to make mechanical adjustments during a production run
• Dependable attendance and careful handling of printed products
• Ability to work independently once a job is assigned
