Customer Service Representative (Temp-to-Hire)

Location: Bolingbrook, IL
Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative for a growing logistics and distribution operation in Bolingbrook, IL. Responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Ensure customer orders are fulfilled in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Maximize container load utilization and coordinate shipment requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation and records
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams regarding order status and shipment updates
• Work collaboratively with warehouse, transportation, and customer service teams to meet customer expectations
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Resolve customer inquiries and issues professionally and promptly
• Perform data entry and reporting tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Previous customer service and order processing experience required
• Experience using CRM systems
• Working knowledge of SAP and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Must be able to pass a 7-year criminal background check
• Must be able to pass a drug screening
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
