Material Handler

Located in Canon City, CO

Salary: 18.00

1. Perform all assigned material handling requirements for the entire organization.
2. Review the required work orders and scheduling of parts collection, kitting, and delivery to the designated work area in a timely manner.
3. Conduct a visual inspection on all parts to ensure proper part, quality, and quantity is received prior to delivery.
4. Using Fork Lift and other lifting devices to move materials, equipment, and parts to their designated area.
5. Empty scrap and trash containers (Belts, Cells, Plasma, Machine (every 3 days), Crate (every 2 days)).
6. Remove all steel, belting, and trash from the plant to the disposal containers in the rear of the facility.
7. Check for Kanban shortages and restock as needed.
8. Unload and assist in loading transport vehicles, containers with parts, and/or new product, etc.
9. Assist in the re-fueling and pre-operational checks of Forklift trucks.
10. Provide subject matter expertise to supervisor on all material handling issues.
11. Assist in the packaging of parts/material or new products for shipment as required.
