Shipping & Receiving Associate
Location: Union, NJPay Rate: $21.00 per hourSchedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | Day Shift
A growing distribution and logistics company in Union, NJ is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join its warehouse team. This position is responsible for receiving inbound shipments, preparing outbound orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy and organization.
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders
Prepare and package outbound shipments accurately and on time
Load and unload trucks safely using warehouse equipment
Maintain accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies
Organize inventory and keep warehouse storage areas clean and orderly
Label, scan, and document incoming and outgoing materials
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (if certified)
Coordinate with warehouse and office staff to ensure timely order fulfillment
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Perform general warehouse duties as needed
Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory control preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Comfortable working on your feet throughout the shift
Basic computer skills and experience using scanners or warehouse management systems are a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic
Forklift experience is preferred but not required
Competitive pay of $21.00 per hour
Full-time, stable employment
Monday through Friday schedule
