Job Overview

Express Employment Professionals is hiring Seasonal/On-Call Forklift Drivers to support a busy manufacturing facility during its peak production season. This day shift position is ideal for experienced forklift operators looking for flexible, on-call work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, move, and stack materials
• Transport raw materials and finished products throughout the facility
• Stage materials for production and warehouse operations
• Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
• Maintain accurate inventory records using barcode scanners and computer systems
• Assist with general warehouse and production tasks as needed
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Follow all forklift and workplace safety procedures

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience is required
• Must successfully pass the company's forklift certification process
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment
• Basic computer and inventory tracking skills
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to work on-call during the busy season
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
• Comfortable working around moving equipment and in refrigerated environments
