A leading precast concrete manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate a 26,000 lb forklift (26K forklift) and move concrete products, materials, and molds throughout a production yard and manufacturing facility.

This is not an entry-level role. Candidates must have recent experience operating large-capacity forklifts, heavy equipment, or industrial material handling equipment in a manufacturing, construction, precast, concrete, or industrial environment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Operate a 26K forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, and transport large concrete products and materials.
• Move molds, forms, rebar, and finished products throughout the facility.
• Stage materials for production and shipping.
• Assist with inventory movement and yard organization.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and safety checks.
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Work closely with production, shipping, and management teams.
• Maintain productivity while ensuring safe material handling practices.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of heavy forklift or heavy equipment operating experience.
• Experience operating forklifts with capacities of 15,000 lbs or greater.
• Experience working in manufacturing, construction, concrete, precast, pipe yard, steel, lumber, or industrial environments.
• Ability to read load charts and understand load capacities.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Reliable transportation and attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating a 20K, 25K, 26K, 30K, or larger forklift.
• Precast concrete manufacturing experience.
• Construction material handling experience.
• Rigging and signaling experience.
• Overhead crane experience.
• Forklift certification.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors.
• Comfortable working around heavy machinery and large concrete products.
