Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations at our Sycamore facility. This role oversees production, sanitation, warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations while driving safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

The Operations Manager will lead operational teams, improve processes, develop employees, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective plant performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, production, efficiency, and employee development goals.
• Lead and develop supervisors and hourly teams across production, sanitation, granulation, and warehouse functions.
• Drive a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with policies, supporting safety initiatives, and leading emergency preparedness efforts.
• Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Logistics teams to improve processes and resolve operational challenges.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on reducing costs, improving efficiency, and minimizing waste.
• Support audits, root cause investigations, corrective actions, and quality improvement efforts.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and company values throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing operations leadership experience required.
• Strong background managing production teams and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to analyze processes, solve problems, and drive results.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
