Mechanical Assembler

• $22 - $25/Hour DoE
• Pembroke, NH
• Monday – Friday
• First Shift, 7am – 3:30pm

Duties:

• Assemble mechanical or electrical components according to blueprints, instructions, or diagrams. Which includes running a conduit.
• Assemble components such as belts, sprockets, pulleys, rollers, sub-assemblies and full equipment models.
• Ensure all parts fit correctly and meet quality standards, testing assemblies if required.
• Utilize tools to fasten, join, or secure components.
• Wire and connect motors and switches.
• Maintain accurate records of assembly processes and report any issues or defects.
• Ensure the work area remains organized and free from safety hazards.
• Operate overhead cranes and forklift.

 

What we look for…

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing or general assembly.
• Pneumatics and Hydraulics knowledge helpful.
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, diagrams, or instructions.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Proficient in using small parts and tools.
• Attention to detail with a quality focus.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Able to read measuring devices and dial calipers.
• Sit, stand and kneel for extended periods of 2 hours or more at a time.
