 Our client, a growing National Recycling Company has opened in Northeast San Antonio and is looking for IT Asset Disposition Tech.  Pay is $18-$21HR. Hours are 1st shift: 7am-3pm, Monday-Friday with 30-minute lunch. This is a long-term opportunity.

Duties for the  IT Asset Disposition Tech position include:

• Receive, sort, and process incoming IT assets including CPUs, memory (RAM), hard drives (HDD/SSD), servers, desktops, laptops, and network switches.
• Perform secure data destruction on hard drives and other data-bearing devices using approved wiping, degaussing, or physical destruction methods.
• Disassemble equipment to recover and separate reusable components (CPUs, memory, drives, etc.) from units designated for recycling.
• Accurately document and track data destruction and chain-of-custody records for all data-containing devices.
• Handle all data-containing devices in strict compliance with company data security policies and applicable data privacy regulations
• Test and grade components and devices to determine resale, reuse, or recycling disposition.
• Safe, secure, and compliant processing of electronic assets including CPUs, memory, hard drives, servers, desktops, laptops, and network switches

 Requirements for the Production Operator position are:

• Identify/Handle basic computer hardware components (CPUs, RAM, hard drives, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail, particularly around data security and asset tracking.
• Label, palletize, and prepare processed assets and materials for storage, resale, or recycling.
• Prior experience in ITAD, electronics recycling, IT hardware refurbishment, or warehouse/logistics.
• Follow all company policies regarding chain of custody, asset tracking, and information security, and report any equipment malfunctions, security concerns, or process issues to the ITAD Supervisor.
• Be flexible to work different stations within the production floor
• Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Familiarity with data destruction standards (e.g., NIST 800-88) or data security best practices, IS A PLUS
• Basic knowledge of servers, network switches, or enterprise IT equipment.
• This is a medium lift job that requires some lifting of 20-to-25-pound objects. Max occasional lift is 50 pounds.
• Must pass background check.
• Training/Testing is required prior to start.

The ITAD Technician position is a long-term opportunity. Pay is $18-21/HR. Hours are 1st shift: 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday with 30-minute lunch. Water, Gatorade and Ice-Pops provided by company.
