Groundskeeper for Sports Fields

This position is responsible for leading and performing the maintenance, preparation, and care of athletic fields and surrounding landscapes, including synthetic turf fields, baseball and softball fields, soccer fields, track facilities, and stadium grounds. This role coordinates athletic event setup, oversees irrigation and turf management activities, assists with snow removal operations, and serves as a lead worker by directing zone gardeners and seasonal staff. The position requires operating a variety of grounds maintenance equipment, ensuring NCAA-compliant field conditions, collaborating with coaches and athletic staff, and maintaining safe, high-quality playing surfaces year-round.

Key Qualifications:

• Two years of grounds, landscaping, turf, or related experience required.
• Experience in athletic field or turf management preferred.
• Strong leadership, planning, and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license required.
