X-Ray Technologist – Full-Time or 12-Week Contract Assignment

Location: Ocean Springs, MS

Position Summary

We are seeking a licensed X-Ray Technician / Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This role is responsible for operating radiologic equipment, ensuring radiation safety, positioning patients, and completing related documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Essential Duties

• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic X-ray examinations.
• Operate digital radiography equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Adjust exposure settings according to examination specifications.
• Follow established radiology protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
• Develop and process radiographic images as needed.
• Enter imaging orders and complete documentation in the EMR.
• Maintain procedure logs and complete required clerical tasks.
• Report equipment issues to the Lead Radiologic Technologist.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited X-Ray Technician or Radiologic Technology program.
• Current Mississippi Radiologic Technologist license required.
• Current ARRT certification required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of radiology experience preferred.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for 6–8 hours per shift.
• Frequent walking, bending, and stooping.
• Ability to move radiology equipment and assist with patient transfers as needed.
