MIG Welder

Located in Madison, WI

Salary: $22+/hr BOE

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join a growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong welding experience who takes pride in producing high-quality work and can work independently.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on weldments, tanks, and metal components according to weld process specifications.
• Use GMAW-P, GMAW-S, and GTAW welding processes to produce quality welds.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols.
• Complete hand layouts of weldments with little to no supervision.
• Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and welding best practices.

Qualifications

• Previous MIG welding experience required.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Experience with GMAW-P, GMAW-S, and GTAW welding processes preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift 5–25 pounds.
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.
