Job Summary

We are seeking experienced MIG and Stick Welders to join our team. Qualified candidates will perform various welding operations while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. Applicants must have a strong understanding of welding techniques, blueprint reading, and equipment maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and Stick welding on a variety of materials and projects.
• Read and interpret complex drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
• Measure, layout, and fabricate components according to specifications.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of welding machines and related equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of MIG and Stick welding experience required.
• Ability to accurately read and understand complex drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient in the use of measuring tools and fabrication equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to consistently produce high-quality workmanship.
• Must own a welding hood and basic welding tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Requirements

• Must be dependable, punctual, and reliable.
• Must have dependable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must successfully complete a welding test prior to hire.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, lifting, bending, and working in various shop conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in structural steel, fabrication, or industrial welding environments.
• Additional welding certifications are a plus.
