Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Duration: Temporary Assignment (2-3 Months)
Location: In-Office

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable and professional Customer Service Associate (Collections) for a temporary 2-3 month assignment. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys working with customers, can manage a high volume of calls, and remains calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Answer and operate a multi-line phone system efficiently and professionally
• Make outbound collection calls regarding outstanding invoices
• Assist customers with payment processing
• Take detailed and accurate messages for the company
• Transfer complex customer inquiries to appropriate internal staff members
• Maintain positive customer relationships while handling collections activities
• Perform data entry and update customer information accurately
• Provide excellent customer service on every interaction
• Complete additional administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous customer service experience required
• Previous data entry experience required
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Self-motivated and dependable
• Ability to stay productive with minimal supervision
• Strong multitasking abilities
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Comfortable handling a large volume of inbound and outbound calls
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for the majority of the workday
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
