Forklift Operator (Day Shift)

Location: McDonough, GA

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators for a Day Shift opportunity with our customer in McDonough, GA. This position is responsible for safely operating warehouse equipment, including Cherry Pickers, Reach Trucks, and Stand-Up Counterbalance Forklifts/Clamp Trucks, to support inventory storage, replenishment, order fulfillment, and shipping operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Cherry Pickers (Order Pickers), Reach Trucks, and Stand-Up Counterbalance Forklifts/Clamp Trucks.
• Must have certification
• Store, replenish, move, and stage inventory within the warehouse according to operational requirements.
• Monitor Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to ensure inventory is accurately stored and replenishment tasks are completed.
• Perform inventory cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Load and unload products while ensuring customer orders meet quality and shipping standards.
• Accurately identify and handle products for storage, replenishment, and shipment.
• Follow standard operating procedures and all safety requirements.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity goals.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification required 
• Minimum 6 months of Cherry Picker (Order Picker) experience.
• Minimum 6 months of Reach Truck experience.
• Minimum 6 months of Stand-Up Counterbalance Forklift and/or Clamp Truck experience.
• Ability to read and understand English for safety and operational purposes.
• Basic math skills
• Comfortable using RF scanners, printers, and basic computer systems.
• Distribution, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work on the warehouse floor for 8+ hours per day, with overtime as needed.
• Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

• Day Shift position
• Warehouse temperatures may vary and can be hot or cold depending on weather conditions.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
