We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Mobile Technician / Shop Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial and contractor equipment in both billable and warranty settings. What You'll Be Doing

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical issues on commercial and contractor equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on small gas and diesel engines
  • Service hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Complete engine overhauls and mechanical rebuilds as needed
  • Perform welding and minor painting related to equipment repairs
  • Complete warranty and customer-paid repair work accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and repair records
  • Assist with the upkeep and organization of the shop and facility
  • Maintain shop tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment
  • Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines

What We're Looking For

  • Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Basic knowledge of small engines, diesel engines, hydraulic systems, or electrical systems is preferred
  • Welding experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Dependable work ethic and positive attitude
  • Valid driver's license preferred
  • Entry-level applicants are welcome—tools will be provided

Work Environment

  • Indoor shop environment with occasional mobile service work
  • Fast-paced setting with a variety of repair assignments
  • Frequent use of diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move equipment and parts as needed
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching
  • Ability to work around machinery, grease, oil, and varying shop temperatures
  • Ability to safely operate shop equipment and tools
