Material Handler needed in Dexter, MI!

Shift: Day Shift- 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 Monday – Friday, OT as required

Pay: $17

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Demonstrate basic computer proficiency.
• Accurately operate scales and perform weight counting of parts and materials.
• Safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and over 50 pounds on an occasional basis, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Learn and apply proper handling procedures and determine the appropriate wash/degreasing cycle for various parts.
• Follow written and verbal work instructions to ensure the accurate processing of parts through vibratory finishing operations.
• Transport and deliver parts to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner.
• Operate a forklift safely and maintain a valid forklift certification.
• Work effectively with team members and collaborate professionally with customers and employees across departments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
