Our Uxbridge client, a leading distributor in the food and beverage industry, is looking for a reliable and hard-working Production Worker to join their team!

Responsibilities:

• Transport food products safely and efficiently to different locations across Canada
• Complete long-haul deliveries while adhering to scheduled delivery times and transportation regulations
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns
• Unload and hand bomb products at customer locations
• Secure cargo properly and ensure safe transportation of all products
• Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, bills of lading, and delivery documentation
• Follow all applicable transportation regulations, company policies, and safety standards
• Communicate with operations teams regarding routes, delays, and delivery status
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and proper maintenance reporting
• Provide professional customer service during pickups and deliveries

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• 1-2 years experience as an AZ Driver
• Valid AZ Driver’s License
• Clean Driver’s Abstract and CVOR
• Comfortable performing long haul, cross-Canada trips
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safe driving practices
• Physically fit, reliable, dependable, and dedicated
• Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs to unload products by hand
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Safety boots required

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience transporting food products or consumer goods (asset)
• Great work ethic and positive attitude
• Diligent worker with great organizational skills

Compensation and Hours:

• Within GTA: Monday to Friday: 10:00am to 6:00pm
• Long Haul Schedule: Approximately 13 hour days, including weekend travel
• Pay Rate: $28 per hour
