Welder/ Fabricator -3rd shift

Location: Sharonville, OH

Pay: $25-$28/hr

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience performing submerged arc welding (SAW) in an industrial or heavy fabrication environment.
• Certified welder or ability to successfully qualify and maintain required welding certifications.
• Ability to read blueprints, fabrication drawings, weld procedures, and AWS welding symbols.
• Experience with fit-up, part setup, measuring tools, clamps, jigs, fixtures, positioners, and standard hand tools.
• Willingness to work a designated night shift in a safe, reliable, and team-oriented environment.
• Two or more years of industrial welding or fabrication experience, with MIG and Stick welding experience preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001/14001 standards, 5S practices, root-cause problem solving, or manufacturing ERP systems (such as Microsoft Dynamics 365) is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Perform submerged arc (SAW), MIG, and Stick welding on heavy industrial components while following approved welding procedures and AWS standards.
• Set up and secure pre-fitted parts using clamps, jigs, fixtures, positioners, and hand tools to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and work instructions to produce quality welds.
• Inspect completed welds, verify dimensions, and maintain proper machining-stock allowances throughout the fabrication process.
• Maintain required preheat/post-heat conditions, follow 5S and safety practices, and assist with quality improvement and root-cause problem-solving initiatives.
