A local Tulsa site work and earthwork general contractor is seeking a journeyman Plumber that has experience operating heavy equipment. This is a temp-to-hire role! Below are additional details. HOURS: First shift but hours will differ depending on job. Some travel is required but this role is primarily local!

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

- MUST have journeyman license. 

- MUST have experience in plumbing within site work and earthwork. 

- Experience in mass earthwork and grading, underground utilities, site preparation,  retention and drainage systems, paving, etc. 

- Experience on commercial job sites. 

- Need a valid driver's license. 

- Need to have a clean driving record. 

- Comfortable working in the elements regardless of weather conditions. 

 

JOB DUTIES:

- Lay, join, and grade exterior pipe for sanitary sewers, storm drains, and water mains using PVC, cast iron, and ductile iron. 

-Operate heavy equipment to ensure correct trench depths, slopes, and proper pipe bedding/backfill. 

-Conduct hydrostatic pressure tests on water lines and air tests on sewer lines to ensure municipal inspection standards are met before trenches are permanently closed. 

- Connect exterior site utilities to the municipal main lines or hook into the exact stub-outs for building's foundation. 

-Read and interpret utility blueprints to ensure compliance with local and civil plumbing coeds.
