🎯 Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production Technician - Refurbishing to join a growing medical device reprocessing and manufacturing team in Bend, Oregon. This position plays a critical role in the inspection, refurbishment, testing, repair, and quality control of medical devices to ensure they meet established quality standards for reuse.
This role requires precision and attention to detail, as much of the work is performed under a microscope. Comprehensive training is provided, with approximately three months of hands-on training before working independently.
🛠 Responsibilities
• Inspect medical devices for quality, functionality, and compliance with standards
• Sharpen and refurbish surgical and medical instruments according to established procedures
• Perform repairs on medical devices using specialized tools and equipment
• Conduct quality inspections and product testing throughout the refurbishing process
• Clean, prepare, and process devices for production and reprocessing activities
• Utilize microscopes and specialized refurbishing equipment for detailed work
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality guidelines
• Maintain production goals while ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met
• Work independently and collaboratively within a production team environment
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas

🎓 Preferred Qualifications
• Previous production experience
• Previous assembly experience
• Previous manufacturing experience
• Previous general labor experience
• Experience with quality inspection or quality control processes
Previous experience is helpful but not required. Training is provided.

• Ability to stand for the entire shift
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Comfortable performing detailed work under a microscope
• Ability to safely use hand tools and production equipment
• Strong visual attention to detail for inspection and testing tasks
