Cold Storage Forklift Operator

Location: Salem, OR
Pay: $20.23/hour ($19.63 base wage + $0.60/hour graveyard shift differential)
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Express Employment Professionals is hiring experienced Forklift Operators for a cold storage warehouse in Salem, Oregon. This is a great opportunity for individuals with previous forklift experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, including freezer conditions.

Job Duties

Operate forklifts safely to move, load, unload, stack, and transport products
Load and unload trailers efficiently
Pick, receive, and stage products using RF scanners
Maintain accurate inventory and warehouse records
Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
Assist with warehouse operations and general labor as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Work in temperatures ranging from -10°F to ambient

Qualifications

Previous forklift experience required
Experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment
RF scanner experience preferred
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
Comfortable working in freezer conditions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
