Seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our commercial service department. This position is responsible for overseeing daily service operations, supporting technicians in the field, troubleshooting complex refrigeration and electrical issues, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong technical background who enjoys mentoring others, solving problems, and helping the team succeed.'

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of commercial service technicians.
  • Provide technical guidance and assist with diagnosing complex refrigeration and electrical service issues.
  • Schedule and coordinate daily service calls while prioritizing emergency requests.
  • Monitor technician productivity, workmanship, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company standards.
  • Communicate professionally with commercial customers regarding repairs, recommendations, and project updates.
  • Assist in developing technicians through coaching and training.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate with office staff regarding job progress.
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
  • Support continuous improvement of the service department.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial HVAC/Refrigeration service experience.
  • Previous experience leading or supervising service technicians preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and electrical systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced service environment.
  • Valid Florida Driver License with a clean driving record.
  • EPA Certification preferred.
