About the Role

We are a long-established manufacturer of iron castings, producing parts ranging from 50 to 4,000 pounds for roughly 80 customers across 400 different parts. We're looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is long-term, steady work in a stable environment with rare layoffs, we're a company where employees build real careers, and our maintenance team includes members with 60+ combined years of tenure.

  

What You'll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance and work on special projects, potentially including welding and pneumatics
• Respond to breakdowns, primarily on machinery
• Start out focused in one department, with opportunities to grow your skills and responsibilities over time
• Follow all safety requirements and relevant operating procedures
• Report to the Maintenance Supervisor

What We're Looking For

• Mechanical aptitude
• Backgrounds in auto mechanics, farming, or general maintenance are all a good fit
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
• Ability to work in extreme heat and cold
• Bilingual candidates are a plus

Physical Requirements

Steel-toed shoes with a metal tarsal guard are required. We supply safety glasses, ear protection, and uniforms.
