Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a reliable and flexible Delivery Driver & Event Setup Associate to join a growing event rental company. This position combines delivery driving, customer service, and hands-on event setup, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.

Position Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up event rental equipment, including tables, chairs, and tents. You will assist with event setups and takedowns at customer locations, interact with customers professionally, and help maintain an organized warehouse environment.

This position requires a high level of schedule flexibility, as work may occur during mornings, evenings, and occasionally early mornings depending on customer needs and event schedules.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver event rental equipment to customer locations in a safe and professional manner
• Drive a Ford F-150 with an 18-foot trailer attachment
• Load, secure, transport, and unload rental equipment
• Set up and tear down tables, chairs, tents, and other event rental items
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups
• Complete light delivery and rental documentation
• Pick up rental equipment after events and return items to the warehouse for unloading and storage
• Assist with general warehouse duties, organization, and inventory handling
• Follow all DOT, company, and safety guidelines

Schedule:

• Weekly schedules are created and distributed every Monday
• Open availability is highly preferred
• Typical start times range from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM
• Occasional early start times around 6:00 AM may be required
• Evening and late-night pickups may occur depending on event schedules
• Rental pickups and returns can sometimes result in work extending into late evening hours

Work Environment:

• Work is performed both outdoors and in a warehouse setting
• Employees should be comfortable working in various weather conditions
• Event setups may take as little as 5-10 minutes or as long as an hour or more depending on the size and scope of the event
• Position involves frequent lifting, carrying, loading, unloading, and physical activity throughout the day

What we look for:

• Valid driver's license required
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Current DOT Medical Card required
• Ability to tow and maneuver a trailer safely
• Strong time management and reliability
• Customer service experience
• Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and occasional early starts
• Comfortable performing physical work and working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Compensation

• $22.00 - $26.00 per hour, depending on experience
