Packaging Machine Operator

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable Packaging Machine Operator to join a fast-paced food production team. This role is responsible for operating automated packaging equipment while ensuring products meet quality, safety, and production standards.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor automated packaging equipment
• Perform machine changeovers based on the production schedule
• Monitor packaging quality, product weights, and labeling accuracy
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and assist maintenance with repairs as needed
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation
• Follow all food safety, HACCP, SQF, and quality standards
• Keep work areas clean and organized while adhering to safety procedures
• Work efficiently to meet daily production and performance goals

Qualifications:

• Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing or food production environment preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing physical work
• Ability to follow written procedures and safety guidelines
• Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
