Sanitation Associate

Express Employment Professionals is seeking dependable Sanitation Associates to join a growing food manufacturing team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary production environment while supporting food safety and quality standards.

 

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, and work areas
• Wash and sanitize cold rooms and other food production areas
• Safely use approved cleaning chemicals and follow all sanitation procedures
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and all workplace safety protocols
• Prepare equipment and production areas for the next shift
• Inspect and maintain sanitation tools and equipment
• Report any food safety, quality, or equipment concerns to management
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Qualifications:

• Previous sanitation or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
• Comfortable working in a refrigerated or cold environment
• Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and follow safety procedures
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical work throughout the shift
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
