Our client in the Johnston area is looking for an Electronics Repair Technician!

Are you a hands-on problem solver with experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment? We are seeking a skilled Electronics Repair Technician to evaluate returned customer equipment, identify faulty components, complete repairs, and ensure all work meets quality standards.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys detailed technical work, has strong diagnostic skills, and is comfortable working with electronic components, tools, and repair equipment in a warehouse or service environment.

Key Responsibilities
Evaluate returned customer equipment and identify faulty components or repair needs.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electronic devices and equipment issues.
Provide accurate repair recommendations and estimates to the office team.
Complete repairs while following established quality and safety procedures.
Perform soldering, desoldering, wiring, and component replacement as needed.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
Maintain accurate repair records and update systems with repair status.
Collaborate with CSR, operations, and warehouse teams to support customer needs.
Assist with overall warehouse and repair operations.

Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in electronics repair, technical service, manufacturing, or a related field.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with electronic components.
Experience using hand tools, multimeters, and basic diagnostic equipment.
Ability to read and understand schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Soldering and desoldering experience preferred (through-hole and/or surface mount).
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized repair procedures.
Basic computer skills for documenting repairs and communicating updates.
Ability to manage multiple repairs and prioritize workload effectively.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team.

Physical Requirements
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing detailed repair work.
Ability to lift and move equipment weighing approximately 25–50 lbs.
Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for handling small components.
Comfortable performing tasks such as soldering, wiring, and component replacement.
Ability to safely operate repair equipment, including soldering irons, power tools, and diagnostic tools.
Comfortable working in a warehouse or workshop environment with moderate noise levels.

Schedule & Pay
Pay: $23.00-$26.00/hour, based on experience.
Monday-Friday schedule.
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Full-time opportunity.
Warehouse/service environment.
