Zero-turn/Tractor Operator

Located in Hattiesburg, MS

Salary: $13/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate zero-turn mowers to maintain lawns, parks, commercial properties, and other landscaped areas.
• Operate tractors and attachments such as bush hogs, finish mowers, box blades, and spreaders.
• Perform mowing, trimming, edging, brush cutting, and vegetation management.
• Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure safe operation.
• Perform routine maintenance, including checking fluid levels, greasing equipment, changing blades, and reporting mechanical issues.
• Load, unload, and transport equipment safely to job sites.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Read and follow work orders, site maps, and supervisor instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with general grounds maintenance, including debris removal, landscaping, and seasonal cleanup.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience operating zero-turn mowers and tractors preferred.
• Ability to safely operate equipment on slopes and uneven terrain.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for routine equipment maintenance.
• Valid driver's license required
